PrepCoach supports three main types of interview questions. Understanding each type helps you prepare more effectively.
These ask about past experiences: "Tell me about a time when..." or "Give me an example of...". Use the STAR method: Situation, Task, Action, Result.
Industry or role-specific questions testing your knowledge. Examples: coding problems for developers, case studies for consultants, or technical processes for engineers.
Hypothetical scenarios: "What would you do if..." or "How would you handle...". These assess problem-solving and judgment.
Most real interviews include all three types. We recommend practicing each type separately first, then doing mixed sessions.
